As entries continue to roll in for this year’s Winner Garage Wyedean Stages, Eric Davis in his erstwhile Mini will nose in front of fellow veteran Bob Morgan for the lead in most appearances on the event.

The Cinderford garage owner will miss this year’s event as he takes on the role of assistant clerk of the course, the duo were tied on appearances after the 2017 event.

The Drybrook resident will be co-driven as usual by Russ Joseph in the Dennis Motorsport Mini GT.

The event has already attracted some unique entries with John Cooledge in his two litre Ford Anglia, and former winner Ian Beveridge returns with the immaculate Toyota Corolla TE 27.

Jonathan Brace is also on the entry with another veteran Wyedean campaigner, Paul Spooner, in the hot seat, and former Welsh historic champion, Jason Gardner, will have Mike Jode with him, all in Escort RS1800s.

Of the local crews on the list, Bream youngster Luke Watts, who recently made his rallying debut at Caerwent, lines up in his NJ Auto Repairs Toyota Yaris.

Ross driver, Gary Bollands, who is sponsored by GB Motorservices in Ross-on-Wye, will be co-driven by son, Tom, in the Subaru Estate. Gary has competed on the WyeDean Rally in previous years with his daughter, and twice with his son so this is somewhat of a family tradition.
