The excitement at Ross Tennis Centre reached fever pitch on Friday, June 14th when a fun tennis tournament, in which individuals played five games with various partners, brought lots of laughter and banter.

Players may have suffered from the effects of the Pimm’s which were consumed throughout the two hours.

At 9pm everyone gathered around to see the draw made. Eight lucky winners will receive a coaching session with Mats Wilander, on Sunday, July 7th, 2019. Mats is a tennis pundit on the Eurosport channel and is a former World Number 1 player. Christopher and Christine Downs very kindly did the honours from a basket of tennis balls which had all been numbered by hand.

A fun evening was had by all, and thanks go to the volunteers who supplied the delicious food and drink.

Spectators will be welcome at the Ross Tennis Centre on the morning of July 7th . Castle Brook sparkling wine, cakes and strawberries will be served.
