The extreme winter weather has disrupted Ross Golf Club's Barnfield Trophy event so that the 98 members who took part recently in the latest qualifying round were involved with just the second of a customary five events programme. As a result the final to be played in two weeks time will be contested by 36 members rather than the customary field of 60 players who will be looking to win the Club's first major trophy of the new year.
