The gymnasts at the Forest of Dean Gymnastics Club were delighted to bring home a total of 12 medals after a very successful day at the Gymnasts in Action competition which was held at Baskervilles’ in Bath.

The Gymnasts competed in both the Intermediate and Advanced groups in this floor, vault and trampette competition.

In the Under 9 Intermediate, Zach Pegler won gold on vault and trampette, and he also achieved a silver overall.

Archie Weyman was only 0.15 behind in 4th place, despite medalling on all three apparatus. Archie won silver on floor and vault, and also won bronze on trampette.

Jacob Tipper won silver on trampette and bronze on floor to come 5th. This was an excellent result as there were 17 boys competing in this group.

Ethan Duberley came 10th and Leo Green 15th. Most of these boys were competing in their first competition for the club.

In the Under 9 Advanced competition, Zac Nikoukar won silver on vault and came 10th overall.

In the Advanced under 11 group on trampette it was Forest of Dean 1 - 2 - 3 when James Hadfield won gold, Seth Harness silver and Henry Lafford bronze. James narrowly missed out on a podium place overall by coming 4th. Henry was 6th and Seth 9th.
