Middleweight boxer Liam O’Hare, and former Ross-on-Wye resident, is gearing up for the Midlands title fight, setting the stage for an electrifying contest on Saturday, 11th November at Arleston Hall in Derby. Tickets are already in high demand.

For those eager to witness the bout, individual tickets are priced at £50, while a table for ten can be secured for £500. The deadline for ticket purchases is 5th November. “To everyone who buys a ticket, I really couldn’t do it without you! Love and respect to you all,” Liam expressed.

The event is made possible through robust sponsorship. Companies such as furniture.co.uk, Muscle Mechanic Sports Massage, The Beefy Boys, Elite Performance, and individual sponsor Bryan Higgs have all contributed. Liam extended special thanks to furniture.co.uk, stating, “I must express my gratitude to furniture.co.uk for their insane level of support! Without which I doubt very much so I’d still be able to box.”

But this isn’t just about boxing for Liam. His transition from a ballet dancer to an undefeated boxer has been anything but easy. Battling addiction, homelessness, and unemployment, he attributes his turnaround to the sport he loves. “Boxing provided me the focus I needed,” he said.

Liam is also a marathoner, training with the support of local veterans from the First Light Trust. The charity works for those affected by physical and psychological trauma from their service life. Liam’s fundraising efforts aim to further support the Trust’s work within the Hereford community.

Liam acknowledges the importance of resilience and redemption in his journey. “To those who doubted me, thank you for the drive to prove you wrong. And for those who stood by me, especially my brother Paul, my gratitude is immeasurable,” he shared.

Don’t miss the chance to see Liam in action. The Midlands title fight promises to be an evening full of energy, skill, and undeniable spirit.
