Ross Golf Club were delighted with the 100+ support received from members who took part in the Men's Christmas Fayre recently and no one was more delighted than the day's top performer, Neil Rodger with his 42 stableford points score, just getting the better of a chasing pack that included performances by several in form players. For the third consecutive Club competition four handicapper Steve Wallbank was able to record a prize-winning score and his 41 points gave him the runners-up slot, where he was joined by Graham Stonadge who also carded 41 points. The name of Club B Team Captain, Colin Bennion also appeared towards the top of the final score-sheet for the third consecutive Club competition with 40 points, followed by Craig Newman and Philip Bull with 39 points each. The 38 pointers were M C Oldale, Peter Shaw, Phil Wilson, Robin Henderson-Pugh, Stuart Jones, Gwynne Morgan and Cec Wheatstone who all received some Christmas fare to take home, as did dozens of others who took part.
