The newly formed Goodrich ’D’ team, now known as the ’Dynamos’, travelled to Hereford Whitecross on Sunday, November 5th, to play their ’B’ team in their first away match of the Winter league.

Both Goodrich pairs, Shani Courtney and Debbie Trigg as first couple, and Diane Webb and Karen Hawley as second couple, started very well and all the games were hard fought, with many long rallies, and plenty of deuce points being contested.

Although the scores do not reflect how close the rubbers were, the more experienced Whitecross Ladies praised the ’Dynamos’ on how well they played, not making it easy for them to win.
