Ross ladies put on the new black and red kit for the first time this week and with new determination and enthusiasm came away with a 5-0 victory!

From the start Ross ladies controlled the game, with the team as a whole pushing much higher up the pitch than in previous weeks. The attack on goal was started from deep in their own half, with Becky Fortnum and Leise Brady running the ball from the defensive lines to get a bit of action. It took Ross a while to get the first goal against Top of the League Shipton Oliffe but, once the ball hit the back of the goal there was no stopping the team.

The forward row of Olivia Mace, Pauline Hemmingway and Becky Pass worked tirelessly to keep the team pushing forward. By half time and with the help of Captain Vanessa Ball the team was 2-0.
