CLUB members congratulated the 2012 Section Officers: Men's Section Captain Mark Foster; Vice Captain Will Jones; LADIES SECTION Gilly Nichols and Lesley Colquhoun; Seniors Section Peter Turner and Keith Nind.

The Men's recent Stableford Competition, played in good conditions, results were: Event 1 Division 1 Winner Niall Powell, 2nd Place Peter Hollins, 3rd Place Simon Riordan. Division 2 Stuart Scheller, David Cawthorn, Ben Bates . Event 2 Division 1 Bill Lawrence, David Linnie, Rob Lerego. Division 2 Chris Drew, Gary Martin, Ray Moore.

In the Winter Singles Knockout Semi Finals Game 1 Simon Sharpe will play Will Dignan. In Game 2 David Linnie will play Simon Riordan. The section will be represented in the Gloucester 'Scratch' Foursomes League, commencing in April, in the first match away at Naunton Downs GC.

The Ladies recent Stableford event saw the first three places taken by Denise Eagle, Deborah Hill, Jill Wargen who played some good golf.

A 9 holes Stableford played on the Academy Course, was won by Tim Horsfield with Yvonne Slack and Sue Hunt following her into the Clubhouse.

A Seniors Section Stableford was played in four divisions. In Division 1 the winning places were taken by Peter Litchfield, Peter Chapman, Roger Barnes. Division 2 Jim BlandRay Causon, Barry Howells. Division 3 Gary Martin, Mick Proctor, John Harper. Division 4 Brian Donald, Eiffion Rees, Rennie Eichhorn.

The sections first inter-club match is away at the Orchard GC at the end of February followed by the sections Winter Singles Knockout Quarter Finals to be played by the end of March.
