LOCAL students, who attend John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye, recently competed in the NSEA National Championships.

This was a really amazing achievement for all of the members, and four of them were competing for the first time at the National Championships.

It is only the top two teams and only two qualifiers in the local area who are able to go to the Championships. Just qualifying to go to it at all is an amazing achievement on its own.

For the students to go to the Championships, achieve being one of the top ten teams, and then jump off against each other and end up coming 3rd team overall out of 36 teams, with only three teams going double clear, was an outstanding achievement.

This was a big success for a group of local students that attend the local secondary school in Ross, as many of the schools that take part are private schools.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
