The members of Ross Junior Girls' Football Team are delighted with their new pink training tops.

All the girls who train regularly were presented with a free top, sponsored by two local businesses. Robert Davies, local painter and decorator, and Michelle and Nick Jenkins from Portable Modular Building Solutions, both dug deep into their pockets to sponsor the girls.

The girls wore their new tops for Sport Relief day, then again for training the next day, some even slept in them!

Robert Davies said: "It's fantastic to see girls' football revived in Ross. I was surprised by how many girls were training and impressed with their skills and enthusiasm."

The girls train Mondays 7-8pm at Wilton Sports Centre and welcome any new members in school years 1-6. No previous football experience is needed.
