More than 50 students from Ross Karate Club competed in a Kyu Grade fundraising competition, earlier this month.

The event saw excellent performances from of the Club’s members from Ross, whose ages ranged from seven to 17.

Medals for Ross included:

Event 3 - Pairs Kata - Second Place - Katie & Olivia James

Event 5 - Novice Kumite - second Place - Louis Davis

Event 6 - Novice Kata - First Place - Frazer Bridges

Event 9 - Novice Kumite - First Place - Frazer Bridges; Third Place - Olivia James

Event 12 - Heian Kata - First Place - Bethany Carter; Second Place - Aiden Leigh; Third Place - Ethan Puxty

Event 14 - Pair Kata - Second Place - Bethany Carter and Eliza Marshall

Event 15 - Female Kumite - Second Place - Bethany Carter

Event 16 - Male Kumite- Second Place - Aiden Leigh

Samurai Martial Arts (SMA) Ross-on-Wye would like to thank all students for their support to raise money for the team going to Monterrey, Mexico next month for the 8th World Shitoryu Karate Federation Championships.
