Despite only taking up the sport of kickboxing at the start of this year, Rhianna Ingram, a Year 7 student at John Kyrle High School, has already achieved significant success.

Her short but hugely successful kickboxing career has taken her from the Urban Open competition in Gloucester, where she finished third in the under 50kg category, to national competitions in Bristol and Newquay.

Rhianna will be competing in the new year in Ireland on her 12th birthday.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
