A tarmac autotest was held by the Ross & District Motor Sports Club at Ross Cattle Market on Saturday 16th February. The event, organised by Glenn Morgan, saw 11 competitors testing their control around a series of cones in the quickest time possible.

Richard Jones came first in class A and won overall with some impressive times. Jack Wells came first in class D in his BMW 318. It was also nice to see James Denny competing in his first event, at the age of 15.

The next autotest will be held on Saturday 23rd March at the Cattle Market. Autotests are a great way to start off in motor sport; it can be one of the cheapest and most enjoyable ways of competing.

The RosSolo, which is a cross between a sprint and an autotest, is to be held on Sunday 17th March at Strensham Services. The event is open to people with road legal cars.
