A sportsman from Herefordshire has leapt into the British Schools Gymnastics Association National Schools Trampoline finals.

Robin Skailes, from Ross-on-Wye, shone at the Central Zone Trampoline competition in Chesterfield.

The Monmouth School for Boys’ pupil was third in the Under-19 Boys’ Elite category to seal his place at the showpiece finals in Northern Ireland on March 24th.

Ross-on-Wye’s Kia Ballantyne, from Monmouth School for Girls, finished sixth in the Under-19 Girls’ Intermediate section.
