Bredon hosted Ross in the Worcester league at the weekend. Ross captain, Seb Warwick won the toss and elected to bat on what was a good batting wicket.
Ross started well with James Tiffen in full flow, and he was ably supported by Jack Evans, but Evans was the first to depart after being lulled into a false stroke. Warwick joined Tiffen at the crease and the pair put on over 100 before Tiffen was bounced out by Tim Fenney for 63. Donovan was run out by Annand and King departed for a duck. Porter soon followed for 11 with the score on 203-5. This brought Ross stalwart Graham Howls to the crease, who batted well with Warwick before Warwick departed for 108 off 102 balls. Howls was run out last ball of the innings for 33, setting Bredon 275 for victory.
