Ross-on-Wye Bowling Club is very proud to announce that new member, Paul Brown, has been selected to play for England in the Para-Sports Men's Lawn Bowls triples at the Commonwealth Games in July. Bristol born Paul said that RBC had made him feel very welcome and was enjoying playing for the Club.

In the National Top Club Competition, having played in the preliminary rounds, the Ross Bowls Club Men's team won through to the Regional Quarter-final, which they played at home on June 30th against Chester Rd BC.

In the National Double rinks the Ross Bowls Club Men's A team, comprised of Alan Page, Jeremy Watkins, Dan Palmer and Shaun Jones (Team Captain) and Ivan Beesley, Paul Rainthorpe, Phil Middleton and Rob Gwilliam won a very competitive game away against Barnwood BC by 44 shots to 35, having already won all their previous rounds. The team are now in the Regional Semi-final that will be played away either against either Cheltenham BC or Olveston BC.
