Ross-on-Wye duo, Roger Matthews and Paul Morris, had a trouble free run to 29th overall and 5th in class in the RJ Matthews Transport RS1600. The result secured them the Dennis Motorsport Welsh Historic championship for the second successive year. This was their second event in two weeks, which helped secure the title. Paul Morris was crowned the co-drivers champion last weekend.

"We just had to finish, which is easier said than done, when you're only driving at seven tenths, your concentration wanders if you're not careful. But we've done it. My thanks to Paul who's done a great job all year, my service boys Pat, Mark and Kevin, and Quick Motorsport," said Matthews.
