Rob Smith, co-driven by Ross Weir, took victory at the recent Weir Laundry Equipment Rally Time Trial at Sweet Lamb in Mid-Wales in the WLE Suburu Impreza. The Forest of Dean Motor Club organised event offering six stages totalling 30 miles of smooth gravel.

Last year's winners Dan Humphreys and Jonny Evans in the Lancer Evo were fastest on the opening test, four seconds up on Smith. But from then on the Subaru driver was fastest on the next four stages and opened up a 15 second lead over Humphreys going into the final stage, taking another second off Humphreys on the final test to take a well deserved win by 16 seconds.

Humphreys took the runner up spot with Sara Williams and Bill Godfrey taking third in the Klarius backed Impreza.
