OUR boys from Ross Juniors Under 9s are benefiting from excellent coaching at Bristol Rovers Elite Advanced Development Centre based in Cheltenham. Three of the boys Mark Derricott, Jacob Gane and Archie Macklin were successful at trials a year ago and were selected to join Rovers centre.

The boys make the long trek to Cheltenham sometimes twice a week, this in turn though has afforded them many opportunities including playing games against sides from West Brom and Hereford United. Whilst at Rovers the boys met Josh Aldridge who lives in Cheltenham and is now on a schoolboy contract with Rovers. Josh then decided that he would like to play club football with his friends so when available from his busy training schedule with Rovers he comes across from Cheltenham to play for the Juniors.
