Ross-on-Wye Taekwondo (BTKD),  has gained another black belt to add to its ranks by the name of Matt Rauccio.

Matt, who has trained for the  last three and a half years,  passed his grading  to earn the prestigious belt with  flying  colours, and  he was awarded his belt and certificate on his first training  session of the  year.

Matt’s  instructor,  Master Paul Eacock said: “Matt, has trained extremely hard to achieve his grade.

“Matt has put a lot of hard work and effort into  his training  and is very dedicated to the  Art.

As well as being a dedicated student,  he also happens to be my Brother -in-law which caused quite  a celebration within  our family.

“It also happens to be  our fifteenth  year as a club in Ross-on-Wye and I am  personally celebrating my 30th year of training in Taekwondo.”

Matt now has set his sights on developing his skills  and forwarding his knowledge of Taekwondo.

Classes are on Sundays 5pm-6.00pm and Wednesdays 6.30pm-7.30pm at Tudorville District Community Centre.
