THE West Midlands squad this year had four crews with members from the Ross Rowing Club Junior Academy. Having won their places at trials in March the squad had been training hard for this first major event of the summer. The event took place at the National Water sports centre in Nottingham between regional squads made up of the best junior oarspeople across the country. See full story in this week's Ross Gazette.
