There was a disappointing end to Ross 2nds away league game to Upton-on-Severn on Saturday October 25th, as they lost 22-18 despite being 5-18 up at the interval.

It started so well, with Ross camped within the Upton half for a good 15 minutes before fly-half Chris Gage put them on the score sheet from a penalty. From Upton's only meaningful attack of the half, they managed to break through Ross' defence to score an un-converted try.

Ross continued to dominate the game, in particular at the scrums, where they won all their own ball and many against the head even though Upton had a far superior weight advantage.
