After last week's cup heroics Ross were back in league action against lowly Bullinghope. They were missing influential centre back Tom Burford but welcomed back captain Sam Loftus to fill the void.

It took just four minutes for the first chance to come. Good work from Harry Hall down the wing set up Luke Gray to smash his shot against the post. Sam Loftus then fell asleep at the back, lost his man from a flick on, who then coolly finished after passing the on rushing Alex Goode.

After this Ross just couldn't get going as they struggled to carve out any chances until the 40 minute mark, when Chris Davies swung a corner in for Luke Gray to bullet a header in. One all at the break.

The half time chat was just what Ross needed as they came out flying. Damon Beaumont dribbled past two players to cross it in for Luke Mayo to volley it in after 51 minutes.

The third goal was a contender for goal of the season in the 55th minute. Chris Davies brought the ball down on his chest, controlled it with his knee and smashed an unstoppable volley into the top corner from 28 yards. Chris Davies then made it 4-1 with a penalty after Luke Gray was fouled in the 59th minute. Three minutes later Damon Beaumont made it 5-1 with a header after a pin point cross from Luke Mayo.

This saw the introduction of a triple substitution with Joe and Ted Loftus along with Ben Hall adding fresh impetus to the side. Another special goal from Chris Davies made it 6-1 in the 76th minute. He hit an unstoppable free kick into the top right hand corner from all of 30 yards. More decisive finishing from Chris Davies got him three more in quick succession to make the score 9-1. In the 88th minute Ben Hall made sure of the three points as the goalkeeper spilled the ball at his feet for him to smash home. 10-1 the final score. A clinical second half performance from Juniors crushed Bullinghope after they had put up strong resistance in the first half.

The Eagle Inn man of the match went to the clinical Chris Davies. Ross Juniors are at home twice this week. Wednesday they play Kingstone at 18:30 and on Sunday play they Goldvale at 11:00.
