THE Autumn RosSolo, organised by Phil Sanders, was held by the Ross & District Motor Sport Club at Strensham Services on Sunday, September 23rd.
With 40 entries, the solo got off to a dry start, which didn't last long as the rain soon started to pour. This didn't manage to put a dampener on the competitors' spirits as they relished the challenge.
The National B Championship had 22 entries. The overall winner was car six, Kevin Belcher, from the Oxford Motor Club in his Subaru Impreza.
The Clubmans Championship had 17 competitors. Car 14, driven by Zenya Heap from the Oxford Motor Club, came first in this category in their Rover 214Si.
The award for the Best Ross & District Club driver went to Jamie Yapp in his Vauxhall Nova.
Jess Fack from Loughborough Car Club won Best Lady in her Peugeot 106.
The Ross & District Motor Sport Club would like to thank all who were involved in organising and competing in the RosSolo, making the event a success.
The solo is a tarmac event, open to anyone with a road-legal car who wants to test their handling and swiftness around four short courses. The next RosSolo will be held in the Spring of 2013.
