On Sunday, February 11th, senior and junior squads at Ross Rowing Club joined forces to raise awareness of Breast Cancer, whilst at the same time having a great morning’s racing on their home river stretch.
A total of 17 crews raced in Head formation from Backney Bridge to the Rowing Club, wearing Pink Bobble Hats to draw attention to Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now – both registers charities.
The rowers then retired to the clubroom for much needed hot chocolate, hot dogs and drinks from the bar.
