On a wet and drizzly Sunday morning Ross RFC U15s welcomed Worcester U15s to Greytree. In theirfirst fixture of the New Year Ross were ready for a great fixture and Worcester did not disappoint.

Both sides were very evenly matched but it was Ross that got first points with a try from Louis Trotman. Callum Coe crossed the line for Ross’ second try. The half time score was 10-0. Worcester came back fighting in the second half scoring two tries in fairly quick succession. With 10 minutes to go the score was tied at 10-10.

The last 10 minutes of the match contained excellent rugby from both sides, showing their skills in defence and attacking play. In the last play of the game Alex Springer skillfully went over the line to score his first try for Ross. This tricky conversion was successfully converted by Ollie Cross in the final kick of the game.
