LOCAL butcher and former Ross RFC player Tim Hanks has been presented with his own framed game shirt to display in his shop.
Tim, who has sponsored the club's younger players for several years, said: “As someone who proudly wore the Ross RFC badge playing for the men’s team, it’s a real privilege to now be able to give back by sponsoring the Juniors section.
"Since I finished playing, it’s been fantastic to see the growth of the youth set-up — something that wasn’t around when I was coming through the ranks.
"Having a strong junior section is vital not only for the future of the club but for the entire community.
"It’s where the next generation of players are nurtured — learning the game, building friendships, and growing a deep pride in playing for the badge.
"Supporting these young players as they develop through the age groups is essential to keeping the club strong and sustainable for years to come.
"I’m proud to play a small part in helping the next wave of talent come through.”
Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor can get in touch with the club via its Facebook page.
