Ross Rugby Club’s U16s travelled to Dursley on Sunday, November 12th. A very boggy pitch awaited them and after a minute’s silence was observed for Remembrance Sunday the game kicked off.

Both teams were very evenly matched and both defensive lines were strong. The very slippy ground underfoot was a downfall for both teams.

At half time no points had been scored. Then at 10 minutes into the second half Dursley managed to break through the Ross defence and get their first points. In the dying minutes of the game Dursley scored their second and converted.

Ross came back strong and Aaron Hickmans managed to pull one back for Ross. This was converted by Jack Edwards after the ball hit the cross bar and just bobbed over for two points. Man of the match was Kieron Terry. Final score Dursley 12 - 7 Ross.
