Ross-on-Wye O2 Touch Centre held its second Annual Mixed Social Touch Rugby Carnival on Saturday, July 15th.

With fabulous weather beckoning, player registration exceeded expectations and set the stage for a great afternoon of touch rugby.

After a very competitive round robin preliminary stage, the teams then played a 3v4 final with ‘The British and Irish Lions’ beating the ‘Dave Mince 6’ by 5-2.

That left the final between ‘Wannabies’ and ‘Average at best’. After a close start, the Wannabies’ firepower, and speed across the park, shone through, eventually winning 7-1.

Everyone who attended is grateful to all the Ross-on-Wye O2 Touch Centre Operators and Ambassadors, along with the RRFC Management, for a well organised and fun family day.

Mixed social touch rugby continues every Wednesday from 7.00pm - 8.15pm at the RRFC Greytree grounds.
