Ross-on-Wye Rugby Club Ladies touch section hosted their leg of the MLTL tournament on Sunday, September 17th. Ross Ladies entered this day at the top of the South West league, with only two more tournaments before the end of the season this was an important day for the ladies.

Ross Ladies A and B teams were joined by teams from Pershore, Bredon and Luctonians rugby clubs. The sun shone for some fantastic touch rugby was played with all teams showing great team work and commitment to the game. There was a great atmosphere throughout the day and a highlight was Ross A & B teams playing a very competitive game against each other, showing how much improvement the ladies have made this season.

Ross A were overall winners of the tournament keeping them at the top of the league, followed by Bredon taking 2nd place, Pershore 3rd, Luctonians 4th and Ross B 5th.

Ross Ladies would like to thank everyone involved in organising the event, the visiting teams, referees, community first aid responders, and all who supported the tournament.

If you are interested in touch rugby please come and join the ladies on a Monday night at 6.30pm. There is also a mixed touch rugby team that train on a Wednesday night at 7pm.
