In their recent game against Frampton Cotterell, Ross Rugby Club played well but lost 10-31.

After successive league promotions, Ross are finding it tough going in the Glos Premier.

After a strong first 30 minutes last Saturday, September 21st, they leaked two late first half tries and were unable to close the gap in the second half, losing 31-10 to Frampton Cotterell.

Whilst the Ross side have found it hard going in Glos Premier, the squad is still tight and focused on improving under the watchful coaching-eye of Callum Harris.

Ross are away next Saturday, September 28th at Hucclecote and are back at Greytree on Saturday, October 5th for a 3pm kick off.

On a more positive note, Ross seniors utilised the new clubhouse at Greytree ensuring the visitors were fed and watered and watched the highlights of the Rugby World Cup.

Players, wives, girlfriends and supporters can now relax after the games in comfort. A spokesperson for Ross Rugby Club said: “We look forward to seeing you on October 5th.”
