Ross-on-Wye cruised into the cup semi final weathering some early Telford pressure, they pulled away to register a comfortable win, of 48-22, setting up a semi final away to Redditch.
It was Telford who started the strongest, taking an early 3-0 lead, and controlling possession and territory. Ross were the first to cross the whitewash with an early Craig Powell score, but Telford hit back with a score of their own to enter the second quarter 10-5 ahead.
Once Ross settled into their high tempo game, Telford began to fall off tackles and the scores came at regular intervals.
Twice, winger Jordan Marshall got on the scoresheet once Ross put him in space. His pace was too much for the Telford wide defence and he made his two scores look easy. In between these, Prop Dave Green ran in a score from ten metres.
The scrum half also added a score after sniping through a gap at the base of a ruck to score. Fullback Craig Powell had his kicking boots on, nailing two great touchline conversions that saw Ross enter the break 22-10 ahead.
The second half mirrored the first, Telford showed glimpses of what they could do, with two tries, but Ross were always comfortably ahead, adding a further four tries of their own, with Gareth Holdsworth and Josh Morgan getting on the scoresheet with some strong direct running.
