Ross RFC Ladies Touch section goes from strength to strength and they currently top the Ladies South West League.

On Saturday, July 15th, Ross travelled to Stratford for the second ‘Super Saturday’ of the season. With some very tough matches and excellent touch rugby being played all day, Ross lost to Pershore in the quarter finals to stop their dreams of retaining the cup. They did however go on to beat Old Laurentians and Stratford to walk away with the Plate and third place.

Overall Ross Ladies have only lost two games during the course of this season, both to local rivals Pershore. Ross are currently on 43 points in the league closely followed by Pershore on 41.

In March Ross were the victors when Luctonians RFC hosted the first tournament of the season. April brought the Greyhounds tournament which was hosted at Pershore, Ross Ladies made the final but succombed to old rivals Pershore and walked away with second place. In May it was the turn of Bredon Star to host and Ross left victorious again after not losing a match. There were two tournaments in quick sucession, on the 11th Berry Hill hosted and Ross came away with the win once again and on the 24th the first ‘Super Saturday’ of the season Ross travelled to Old Laurentians in a tournament where both SW and NE leagues meet. Ross came away with the cup as overall winners.
