Five John Kyrle High School students travelled to Bury Farm Equestrian Centre in Slapton, Buckinghamshire to take part in the National Schools Equestrian Association County Championship final.

Archie Thomas qualified in the 70cm NSEA County Championship to represent Herefordshire as an individual. Archie came seventh, out of 26 other competitors representing their counties, at the event which took place on Thursday, April 18th.

Evie Bennett, Ronie Thomas, Verity Wallbridge and Zoe Whitehouse qualified in the 80cm Team to represent Herefordshire. They also came seventh out of the 29 other teams representing their counties.

The John Kyrle students represented the school and Herefordshire with great pride. The next championship final, that four of the NSEA members have qualified for, is the Eventers Challenge at Hickstead at the end of May.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
