Ross Bowling Club opened its Green for the start of the new season on Wednesday evening, 16th April.

Before formally opening the Green, the President, Mr John Perks, handed over a cheque for £750 to Mr David Teague, Trustee for St Michael's Hospice, which had been the President's Charity for 2013-14. This donation had been generously donated by members during the year. Mr Teague thanked members for their generosity and outlined the latest building works being done at the Hospice and how important the generosity of the public is. Some of the many members there took this opportunity to get their bowling shoes on and get onto the excellent Green and play a few ends of bowls in preparation for the season in glorious sunshine. Ross BC members are always happy to introduce those interested in having a go at bowls or any of the other facilities on offer as a member of the Club.
