For the first time in three years the Walford Timber Ross 10K and Fun Run were free of rain, with the runners and spectators basking in beautiful sunshine.

• Mayor of Ross, Councillor Chris Bartrum, at the start line, in front of the 10K runners shortly before he sent them on their way. A large crowd turned out to watch fine performances by young and old stars and General Sherman regained his place as top dog.
