Ross-on-Wye family Taekwondo (btkd), have gained two more black belts by the names of Katie  Eacock and Isabella Rauccio.

The pair, who are cousins, have trained and graded together for the  last three and a half years.

They were presented with their belts and certificates last week by their instructor, Master Paul Eacock.

Mr Eacock told the Ross Gazette: “It is great  to see the girls get their  black belts together. They started training just before they were five-years-old, and now at just eight-years-old and after a lot of  hard work they are 1st degree black belts in Taekwondo.

“It is also nice that Isabella is my niece, and Katie is in fact my daughter. I am extremely proud of the girls, I have watched them gain skills and  grow in confidence over the last few years and I hope to continue to teach them for many years to come.”

Classes are at Tudorville District Community Centre on Sundays 5-6pm and Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm.
