Ross-on-Wye 1st XI travelled away to Colwall for their latest Marches League encounter. The day started with Colwall winning the toss and electing to bowl first. With Ben Lander and Angus McIntyre forming a new youthful opening partnership, the hedgehogs were confident of batting the opposition out of the game.

Unfortunately, Lander fell to the last ball of the first over, but the evergreen Graham Howls joined McIntyre, and both batsmen scored fluently, as Ross scored at greater than a run a ball in the first twelve overs.

This week Ross are back in action at The Park against Ledbury. All support is very welcome so please come down and cheer on your club to hopefully a third win in a row.
