If you have yet to make a New Year's Resolution, or have already broken one (or a dozen), then gear up your limbs for training, brave the weather and step out for a run. Now is the time to make that promise to yourself after all the gluttony of the Christmas and New Year season.

Having a goal will help your resolve and what better than the Hereford Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, May 13th 2012 and you are invited to join in.

In 2011, St Michael's Hospice recorded its highest ever number of entrants for this race, around 800, but this year they want to do even better! If you feel that 13 miles and 193 yards is too much for you, then why not take part as a relay team, you can run with up to three other people and share the training and the satisfaction of completing a half marathon.

You can enter online, via a form through the post or at Hereford Leisure Centre, so there's no excuse http://www.bit.ly/hfdhalf12">www.bit.ly/hfdhalf12 to go direct to the information and online entry page.

If you are interested in running off the Christmas turkey and multiple mince pies (you know you had more than one!) then go online, pick up a form or contact the Events Team for full details on 01432 851000.
