Ross Golf Club's Pro-Am Lombard Qualifier, a medal competition played off the course's demanding white tees and supported by 120 members will live long in the memory of 21 handicap player, Tony Biggs, and who is currently enjoying a rich vein of form on the Ross club's tree-lined Gorsley based course. After his achievements in 2 rounds of the 2014 Barnfield Trophy event scoring 39 points and 43 points respectively, his latest medal round included 8 pars and 2 birdies, and despite dropping 6 shots on his final 2 holes, his winning nett 61 medal score was the lowest ever that members can recall being carded in the Club's history. On this form, his 4 shots handicap reduction will still give Tony a reasonable challenge to continue his improvement process, as he looks forward to the Summer season with much relish.
