Steve Bennett Rally Team had a successful return to rallying in last weekend's Pirelli Rally in the Kielder Forests, Northumberland.

Steve Bennett, local garage owner from Ross-on-Wye, and co-driver Paul Wakely, from South Wales competed in a new MK2 Escort RS1800 built by Dave Jenkins Motorsport in Coleford.

Steve has recently returned to rallying after an eight year break from the sport. He was a former Peugeot Challenge runner-up to the late Richard Burns, who went on to become World Rally Champion 2001.
