Men's Section - On Saturday, May 12th the Men's A Team played their first home match of the season against Cotswold Edge GC in the NGFL. With blue skies and bright sunshine the players did Team Captain Steve Bennett proud winning 4 games to 2.

Wins for Paul Stone & D Barnard, Jon Tookey & J Blewitt, Martin Latham & Alan Haines and Phil Hill & Cino Paccagnini. Steve Bennett & Matt Humphries and Paul Campbell & Ian Officer were unlucky this time around.

The B team were also in action on the same day, playing the away fixture at Cotswold Edge GC, they too were victorious four games to two.

The weather was kind again on Sunday for the Monthly Medal and County Medal Qualifier. It will be Geoff Eyres who will go on to represent the Club at Minchinhampton GC in the county final after scoring an excellent Nett 66 and reducing his handicap from 16 down to 13.

Ladies Section - Monthly Stableford Results – 1st Erica Warr, 2nd Debbie Griffiths, 3rd Sue Palmer

The ladies also played their first league match of the season against Ravensmeadow GC on Thursday. They were runaway winners 4 games to nil.

Senior Section

John Wynne will be picking up the first silverware of the season after scoring a Nett 71 in the Seniors Spring Cup.
