Ross Juniors Sunday beat reigning league champions Allstars 4-2 in a pulsating match and ended their opponents' two year grip on the Herefordshire Sunday Premier League title. In denying Allstars the treble, after they beat Ross in two cup finals, in April, Bromyard Colts are the new champions of the Sunday league.

The game had everything: brilliant goals, end to end action, a packed crowd and two very animated managers.

Allstars went into the game needing to win their two remaining games to retain the title. However, despite it being their last match of the season and there being nothing of significance riding on it for the home team, Ross were up for the game from the start and it was clear that revenge, after Allstars beat them 3-1 and 2-1 in recent cup finals, was a motivating factor. Ross dictated the game in midfield, the defence denied any early openings for the opposition and the front two were pressuring the away defence.Ross opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a superb team goal, James Davies on the right played the ball back to Eli Wooding and his inch perfect cross was met by a bullet header from Damon Beaumont that smacked the back of the net.
