Up and coming cycling star Josh Sandman, from Ross-on-Wye, enjoyed considerable success at the weekend. He was in Troon in Scotland on September 1st, where he rode the Ten Mile Time Trial in a record time of 19 minutes and 26 seconds, and broke the course record.
He also finished first in the junior Championship. Josh is also the junior record holder for ten miles (18mins 16sec) and joint holder of the junior 25 mile time trial record. (47mins 27secs)
Josh, who lives in Ross and attended John Kyrle High School, has recently finished his education at Hartbury College.
He rides for Backstedt Bike Performance and his ambition is to become a professional cyclist.
