As part of their time looking at Remembrance, 3rd Ross Brownies visited St Mary’s Church. They were lucky enough to be allowed into the tower to have a go at ringing the church bells. They even had a go at the heaviest bell which weighs one tonne.

While they were there they created a chain of names from the war memorial in the Prospect which was in church for Remembrance Sunday. The Brownies would like to say thank you to Ian Hedges, the Parade Marshal, for meeting them at the church to tell them about what would happen at the Remembrance parade.

The Leaders are all very proud of how well all the Brownies who took part in the parade on Remembrance Sunday behaved.
