Gloucestershire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a serious sexual assault that took place on July 14th.

The incident happened in the early hours of the morning between 4am and 4.30am in Charles Street, Gloucester.

The 39 year old female victim had walked from along Trier Way, across Barton Street and into Charles Street towards Asda. As she reached the car park, an unknown man approached her from behind and assaulted her.

He is described as white, of medium to large build with short dark hair and he was wearing a white top. He spoke with a foreign accent.
