The Ross-on-Wye and area Neighbourhood Watch is appealing for residents in the Cawdor area of the town to check their CCTV if they have any.

At around 6.15am on Wednesday, November 15th a vehicle was broken into. Offenders smashed a window which actived the alarm, however the thieves had time to grab a bag which had been left on the seat. The bag contained a purse with bank cards and a small amount of cash.

If anyone has any CCTV or knows anything about this incident please inform the Police via 101 and quote incident number 0048S 151117.
