WITH an office in Ross-on-Wye, Alliance Accountants is joining BK Plus to strengthen its small medium enterprise business support Across Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Alliance Accountants has already built trusted relationships with businesses across the area, known for its approachable service, strong technical expertise and personal client care.

The move brings together two like-minded firms with shared values and enhances BK Plus’s ability to support local small medium enterprises with national backing.

The announcement follows a wave of recent acquisitions by BK Plus, including its latest in Birmingham, and brings its headcount to over 770 professionals working across 38 offices UK-wide.

Importantly, it also adds to bk plus’s existing presence in Cheltenham where it already operates from Manor Park Business Centre. The combined local teams will continue to provide the same client-first service while gaining access to wider expertise across audit, accounts, tax, restructuring and specialist advisory.

Ronan McKeown, a partner of Alliance, who will continue to lead the team, said: “Joining BK Plus opens up exciting opportunities — not just for us, but for our clients.

“We’ve always been focused on practical, honest advice that really supports local businesses, and this move strengthens that mission.

“Our clients will still deal with the same people they know and trust, now backed by a bigger team with specialist capabilities we couldn’t offer before.”

Shaun Knight, chief executive of BK Plus added: “Alliance is exactly the kind of firm we look to partner with — strong values, deep client relationships and a real connection to the region.

“Mr McKeown and the team are trusted advisors in their local market, and this addition strengthens our offering across both Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. We’re proud to be building something different at BK Plus, regional teams, locally embedded, nationally supported, and always focused on small medium enterprises.”
