TWO local establishments are to benefit from a share of a £2 million grant to improve community spaces.
Herefordshire Council’s Community Spaces Capital Grant Scheme resulted in 13 awards, totalling nearly £2 million in capital investment, of which the Pen Y Bryn Animal Sanctuary in Ross-on-Wye and Llanwarne Village Hall are beneficiaries.
The funding will support the creation of welcoming, multi-purpose venues that bring people together, strengthen connections, and make services more accessible.
Successful projects were each chosen for the unique difference the grant will make in its community.
Each funded project is different, but all were chosen for the unique value they will add to their local community and locality.
Work on the projects will commence shortly and all are expected to be completed by March 2027.
